The Cavern cup, now the Cavern 24-7 Film Festival has seen some amazing local talent when it comes to snowboarding, skiing, filming and editing. Showcasing films from professional videographers and amateurs side by side the crescendo is a huge charity event held at the Palais de Sport, previously at the Cavern Bar in the centre of Morzine, which is where the competition gets its name.
There are a few rules to adhere to, with 2 riders or more in the film, each film must be no more than 4 minutes long and each team has just 7 days to film and edit the entry. The competition bib must be in every shot of the film and the bibs are only available to be picked up the night before the filming starts!
The competition is in full swing at the moment so it’s too late to enter but if you are in Morzine on Thursday March 12th 2015 then head down to the premier and cast your vote! Tickets are available from local businesses in town such as Dotty’s coffee shop and The Cavern Bar.
If you aren’t around or just simply can’t make it then don’t worry you will be able to watch all the entries and past entries on the vimeo page
Here are some of our favourites from the past years!
