We offer three types of airport transfer – find out which one is best for you

If you’re looking to travel from Geneva to Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets this winter, you’re in the right place! If you’ve never visited Morzine, Avoriaz or Les Gets before, we can tell you that an airport transfer is the best option to get from the airport to the slopes. The available public transport options are less than ideal, and practically non-existant if you’re travelling early in the morning or late at night. We’re happy to be one of the only companies based in Morzine that offers not one, but three types of airport transfer for you to choose from. But which one is best for you? Read on to find out.

If you don’t mind a potentially longer wait at the airport, an economy shared transfer could be for you.

Economy Shared Transfer

Best for: Travelling alone or in a small group, travelling on a budget, travelling during busy times of day, last-minute trips, those who don’t mind waiting for a bit longer at the airport.

We’re one of the only companies in Morzine to offer economy shared transfers! They’re our best value shared transfer, but it does mean you can be subject to slightly longer waiting times at the airport. Here’s an economy transfer in a nutshell:

  • We offer economy transfers for flights arriving or departing between 9am and 9pm
  • You’ll have a maximum waiting time of 90 minutes at the airport, starting from when you arrive at the transfer meeting point.
  • We aim to get you to the airport two to four hours before your return flight.
  • Economy shared transfers are available to and from Geneva airport, Morzine (including Prodains) and Les Gets.
  • You’ll be sharing the van with other passengers who have a similar flight time to you and the van will be stopping to pick them up or drop them off along the way.
  • Economy shared transfers are available to book online now for holidays any time between mid-December and mid-April.

A shared transfer is the most popular option as it’s good value but offers shorter waiting times.

Shared Transfer

Best for: Travelling alone or in a group, travelling at any time of day, travelling with kids, good balance between prices and waiting times

Shared transfers are our most popular option, offering the best price to waiting time correlation. They’re simple and reliable, without the longer waiting times of an economy shared transfer – and we run shared transfers to Avoriaz, too!

  • We offer shared transfers at all times of day
  • You’ll have a maximum waiting time of 45 minutes at the airport, starting from when you arrive at the transfer meeting point. However for flights arriving between 9pm and 9am that time increases to 90 minutes.
  • We aim to get you to the airport two to three hours before your return flight.
  • Shared transfers are available between Geneva airport and Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz.
  • You’ll be sharing the van with other passengers who have a similar flight time to you and the van will be stopping to pick them up or drop them off along the way.
  • Shared transfers are available to book online now for holidays any time between mid-December and mid-April.

Like Getaway Pooch in this photo, when you book a private transfer you’ll have the van all to yourself.

Private Transfer

Best for: Short breaks, travelling with young kids, getting to your chosen destination as quickly as possible.

Private transfers are the crème de la crème of what we offer. We reserve a van and driver just for you so you can get to where you need to go as quickly and efficiently as possible. Read on to find out more.

  • Private transfers are available at any time of the day
  • Your driver will be waiting for you when you arrive at the airport so you can get going straight away.
  • We aim to get you to the airport two to three hours before your return flight, but we can be flexible with your departure time.
  • Private transfers are available between Geneva airport, Geneva Train Station, Geneva Hotels and Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz. Get in touch to enquire about private transfers from other destinations, such as Cluses or Thonon train stations.
  • You’ll have the van all to yourself so there will be no stopping to pick up or drop off other passengers en route.
  • We offer private transfers at all times of the year – and you can book online whenever you like

All our vans are less than three years old and are in great condition.

Before we finish, here are a few things all our airport transfers, shared or private, have in common:

  • We’ll NEVER leave you stranded at the airport. If your flight is delayed we’ll make sure you have a seat on the next transfer with space available. If you’ve booked a private transfer your driver will wait (or we’ll send another one depending on the severity of the delay).
  • We’ll drop you off and pick you up at your door, wherever your accommodation is accessible by road.
  • We’re not a shuttle service; all our transfers are scheduled around your flight times.
  • All our drivers have been professionally trained to drive with passengers and drive safely in the snow.
  • All our vans are less than three years old, are kept really clean and are in excellent condition, complete with top-of-the-range snow tyres and snow chains.
  • All our vans comfortably carry up to eight passengers, which limits the amount of drop-offs and pick-ups for shared bookings.

Thanks for reading. We hope you’re a bit more up to speed on what type of airport transfer is best for you. If you’d like to book you can do so online HERE, and you can also book over the phone or by email. See you soon!
